This special one-off Conscious Dance workshop is a collaboration between Martina and Crossed Wires Festival, featuring a live electronic music performance by Declan Burke.

Conscious Dance is a guided movement experience rooted in self-expression, mindfulness, and embodied presence. 

Through a balance of gentle structure and open exploration, participants are invited to tune into their bodies, build confidence in movement, and dance without judgement, choreography, or expectation. Movement will unfold in conversation with live music, created in real time in response to the energy of the room. At times playful, at times grounding, the session offers space to explore musicality, connection, and how we move through space — both individually and together.

 Moments of stillness and meditation are woven throughout to support nervous system regulation and integration. The intention is to foster confidence in self-expression through non-prescriptive movement, creating a safe and welcoming environment to explore inner states, release stress, cultivate presence, and move freely — guided, supported, and held by live sound.
